Actor Song Joong-ki, of the KBS drama “Nice Guy”, met with his fans Saturday for the last time before he starts to serve his mandatory military service.
He is scheduled to begin his service in Chuncheon, Gangwon, on Aug. 27
Around 1,400 fans came all across the country and overseas – including Japan, China and France – to say goodbye to the actor at Sangmyeong Art Center in Jongno, central Seoul.
In the first half of the fan meeting, Song focused on interacting with the fans. He gave away a pair of his sunglasses and a bag he had used during college.
There were also video messages from his fellow celebrities, including singer Kim Jong-kook and comedian Yoo Jae-seok. Actor Zo In-sung of the TV drama “That Winter, the Wind Blows“, who is one Song’s best friends, attended the event in person to wish his friend well.
In the second part of the event, Song gave some thoughts on acting and his future, giving fans something to look forward to until he is discharged.
