American Idol said to Pia ” WE OWN YOU” Ex Idol Pia Toscano has been picked up by a record label however IDOL said “NO” Pia is still under contract with American Idol until the show is over, it is no way they are going to allow pia or any good contestant to release a single/album before the winner.  It’s the old “We don’t want you and we don’t want anyone else to have you” 19 Entertainment has first pick of any of the talent their want. In other word Pia might want to sign with Warner Bros however 19 Entertainment will wave that contract in her face and say “WE OWN YOU”
Idol is a true JOKE,  this is why I no longer watch because, they are NOT looking for talent they are looking for Album Cover Look. Remember when Carrie Underwood was on American Idol and was told they had to deliver in ALL CATEGORIES, Underwood could not sing a lick of “Soul Music” and, by right she should not have been made to do so, just like Melinda Doolittle is more Jazz and was made to sing Country.Â
Another problem with Idol is a contestant can sing in one category and you will hear a judge say ” On No, you are out of your element you should sing country” the next week when the contestant sing country then the same judge will say ” Oh no, that’s too big for you, anyway, Idol should be shut down or change the name ” NO TALENT NEEDED, JUST HAVE A PRETTY FACE” OR WHAT THEY DON’T HAVE (a female country singer, a male rock singer, a male and female r&b singer, etc…) That’s the winner of American Idol.
