Topic: Daytime Dramas – Soap Operas

It’s been a nice long journey,  we let Soap Operas into our living room everyday,  we  connect with the characters. If a character was called ‘Uncle” we called him Uncle.  Many home would put on a big pot of coffee, call their friends to hurry over because it was show time!   In January,  there will be no more soaps in New York.

The chopping block has landed here in California where the rest of the soaps are being cancelled.  It saddens me to know that my view of the Soaps are not appreciated and that Disney does not give a d-mn about our feelings.

Disney will replace our long beloved soaps with other shows, it great to have those shows on the air,  it’s enough room for all of us.  I do not understand why Disney is hurting us this way.  I am sorry but,  I WILL NOT be watching the new show.

I’m from the old school when I was a kid I would watch The Edge Of Night” with my family, today my favorite Soaps are “ONE LIFE TO LIVE and “DAYS OF OUR LIVES”

We can write the sponsors of the new shows and let them know we are NOT buying their products,  for all SOAP FANS who are hurt by this,  do not give them the satisfaction of giving the new shows high ratings.   There is nothing wrong with “One Life To Live”  Young viewers are tuned in everyday because, they have a young cast as well as a mature cast.  Good bye Soaps We were there with you and for you,  your fans did not let you down.  THE END OF THE ROAD.
