One of the hottest actors in Hollywood is Johnny Depp who recently had a birthday on June 9, his film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides as Jack Sparrow is a blockbuster smash with film goers. After 3 weeks out, this film has grossed  nearly $200,000,000 million as of yesterday. Depp doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, he has completed the film “The Rum Diary”, a release date has not been released yet.

Depp is supposed to be working on two anticipated films “Dark Shadows” which seems to be the perfect film for him and “21 Jump Street” which made him a household name. If it is true that these films are in progress, it’s going to be another string of box office smashes added to his resume.

After bursting onto the scene in the 80’s, Depp is still a hot sex symbol, he is one handsome sexy man that makes the ladies dream that they are Mrs. Depp and the men wish they could have his sexy appeal.

Depp has earned the title as Hollywood’s highest paid actors, according to Vanity Fair, he’s ranked at number 2 on their list which placed him as the highest paid actor.  It’s reported that he made $35 million for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Also, Depp is number 6 on Forbes list “The Celebrity 100”, he made  well over $70 million for his films. Plus, he makes $5 million dollars on any older films.  He doesn’t seem to have any problems with bringing in huge box office numbers. His career is only going to expand even more so with winning the most important award for an actor in Hollywood, an Academy Award.
