LOS ANGELES – Singer – Actress – Producer Alicia Keys is set to produce a new Broadway play (Stick Fly).  The play is written by Lydia R. Diamond and will be directed by Director  Kenny Leon.  According to USA Today,  in a statement Keys said  “I’m passionate about this play because it is so beautifully written and
portrays Black America in a way that we don’t often see in entertainment,”  Stick Fly is set to open December 8, 2011.
