American Idol Contestant Pia Toscano has signed a record deal with Interscope Records entitled “First Time” Out July 12. Toscano did not make to the top 5 on the show however she did make the Idol tour. I guess the rumor was true that Toscano had a record deal when she was eliminated from American Idol. I know a full CD will follow.

I think Pia is very pretty and has a very good voice but so do thousands in music business today. When she was on AI I was so bored everytime she sang. She has no stage presence nor does she sing anything but ballads. This type of singer will draw a fanbase but not many young people as evidence by her early departure on idol. The men will love her but not so much the women. Will see.
