Topic: Eddie Murphy – Academy Awards

It’s official Eddie Murphy will be the host of the 84th Annual Academy Awards according to AP.  Murphy is extremely shy, however, when it comes to performing he’s a genius.  He said in a statement Tuesday that he is “enormously honored” to join the ranks of past Academy Awards hosts such as Johnny Carson, Bob Hope, Billy Crystal, Steve Martin and Whoopi Goldberg according to AP.

I wish Murphy all the luck in the world,  he is one of my all-time favorite actor-comedian.  The only thing Murphy has done that I did not like was embarrassing was how he treated ex girlfriend Mel B when she announced the birth of their daughter together.

Murphy went public to question the paternity of the baby and that was uncalled for, the public was not in the bedroom with him and Mel B.  I can understand being sure, however,  it’s not what Murphy did it’s the way he did it.

The Academy Awards producers Don Mischer and Brett Ratner could not have chosen a better host than funny man Eddie Murphy.  I know the ratings will sky rock.
