Jyoti Amge who is from Nagpur, India  holds the record for being the world’s shortest woman alive.

On Amge’s 18th birthday, she was measured at  2 feet and 0.06 inches tall by The Guinness World Records judge Rob Molroy who flew in to India to measure her along with Dr. Manoj Pahukar of Wockhardt hospital and then she was presented a copy of the 2012 Guinness record book as well as her official certificate.

Amge looked beautiful dressed in a purple sari and henna. She looked proud and happy.

Amge said of her size, “I feel grateful to be this size, after all, if I weren’t small and had not achieved these world records, I might never have been able to visit Japan and Europe and many other wonderful countries.” Indeed!

According to Waleg, Amge is a fashionista and an aspiring Bollywood actress. In fact, she will be starring in two movies next year!

Amge has a condition called achondroplasia.
