The Chuck Norris of India, or better known as Bollywood superstar Rajnikanth, is now living up to his name as the man who can do anything. The actor will be attempting something he has never done before – to sing a song in Hindi, according to the Masala website.

Last week, Rajnikanth recorded a Hindi song composed and co-sung by A. R. Rahman in London for his daughter Soundarya’s film “Kochadaiyaan”.

The producers of the film, Dr Murli Manohar and Eros International, were very eager to have the superstar sing the song in Hindi, especially since he lent his voice to the original Tamil version. In an interview with a tabloid, Dr Manohar said that the Hindi version is completely different from its Tamil version.

This version of the song has been written by Irshaad Kaamil, better known for his pieces from “Love Aaj Kal” and “Rockstar”.

His style was clearly imprinted into this song when it has been heard that it contained plenty of difficult Urdu words.

The superstar was reluctant to do it at first, as he was worried that he may not be able to pull it off, but to no one’s surprise at the end of the 15-day schedule in London, he was able to record the song to the liking of the composer.
