According to ET, Director Tony Scott jumpded to his death, a suicide not was found.

Scott was famous for Days of Thunder, Unstoppable, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, and Crimson Tide to name a few.

Scott’s brother is filmmaker Ridley Scott, with whom he was partners with in the production company, Scott Free Productions which produces the hit CBS series, The Good Wife.
