According to My Fox detroit, Kelly Parker of Detroit, Michigan is facing eviction from her home. Parker is battling brain & lung cancer and has children.

Parker said “Three weeks ago, I was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer and it’s to the point where they want to do brain surgery tomorrow, and I just found all this out.  So them trying to evict me out of my house and sell my house, I’m not going anywhere.”

        De De…I’m so upset! I live in a manufactured home community and was talking to someone on the Board of Directors. She told me I couldn’t canvas the neighborhood for ANY reason as there is no soliciting in the park which could be cause for an eviction. I did the only other thing I could think of and that was to email about 40 people and asked them to go to Facebook and click on “Help Kelly Parker”. My heart goes out to that family and I just wish I could have done more…..isn’t that why we are all here?
