At Saturday night’s 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco, “American Idol” Season 8 runner-up and openly gay pop star Adam Lambert was presented with the Davidson/Valentini Award, which is given to a member of the LGBT community who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights. Adam also tied with Frank Ocean in the category of Outstanding Musical Artist.
