Pierce Brosnan’s daughter has died after a three year fight with ovarian cancer.

Charlotte Brosnan passed away aged 42 from the same disease that killed her mother Cassandra Harris, the Bond actor’s first wife, in 1991.

She is survived by her husband Alex and children, Isabella, 15, and Lucas, eight.

Brosnan said today: “My darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer.

“Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl.
