With his recent films proving to be huge box office flops, Shahid Kapoor is putting his time to good use by picking up a new hobby.

The actor is keeping himself busy by learning how to DJ, and was even seen showing off his skills at a recent Bollywood party hosted by Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. He was seen glued to the console as he learnt the ropes of mixing music.

The 32-year-old star carries his own set of audio speakers for his rookie gigs and also played music for his guests at a small get-together party he hosted.

“It seems Shahid has found himself an alternate vocation. He makes sure never to leave his speakers behind at home. His mobile phone has a lot of music from hip hop to retro it covers all the genres,” said a source close to him.

The source added, “Shahid has been talking music. In fact, in his free time, he has also been inquiring about good DJ’ing software available.”
