Local fans of the K-pop group Big Bang are finally getting a chance to see all five members performing together in Seoul.
The group unveiled its plans yesterday to hold two concerts, on Jan. 25 and 26 at Seoul Olympic Park, in the southeast of the city, in a show called “2014 Big Bang +a in Seoul.”
“The group will start the [new year] with fans in Korea,” said the group’s agency YG Entertainment.
“The news will be greatly welcomed by local fans as it has been a year since all of them shared a stage together here.”
Big Bang’s last full-scale tour, “Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour The Final,” wrapped up in January of this year.
Since then, the members of the group spent most of 2013 working on solo projects. They are performing as Big Bang only in a few concerts in Japan in November and December, along with a brief appearance at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong.
