Singer April Boy Regino is cancer free. The voice behind the hit “Di Ko Kayang Tanggapin” himself announced the good news in GMA 7’s “Startalk” last Saturday, December 21.

“Kaya ako nag-guest sa Startalk ngayon ay (para sabihihin) na ako ay cancer free.  Salamat sa Diyos at binigyan Niya ako ng panibagong buhay.”

He added that his  family’s prayers and a daily intake of pure barley have cured him of prostate cancer, which he initially hid from the public because he didn’t want people to pity him.

“Gusto ko, matapang ako, nakangiti, lumalaban, cancer free.”
