Ricky Martin and longtime partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella have split.

“Ricky and Carlos have mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be united by friendship and their shared experiences,” a spokesperson for the 42-year-old singer said in a statement to A ccess Hollywood .

In 2012, the singer — who has 5-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino — spoke out about his relationship Carlos.
