Comedian Jobert Austria, part of the cast of ABS-CBN’s late night gag show Banana Nite, was brought to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) for investigation following his attempt to jump off a hotel building in Quezon City.
Shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, Austria was seen leaving Hotel Sogo along Quezon Avenue with friends and co-workers, including Badjie Mortiz, the son of “Banana Nite” director Edgar Mortiz.
However, QCPD operatives approached the group and took custody of the comedian.
