Following the initial reports of Jooyeon withdrawing from After School by the end of the year, Pledis Entertainment has released a short statement.

Jooyeon’s contract with Pledis Entertainment will be expiring on New Year’s Eve, to which the agency has confirmed this as true. “It is correct that the contract will expire on December 31st. It is not yet undecided whether she will leave the team or re-sign with us. We are still in discussion.”

Meanwhile, it is reported that After School is preparing to release a new album to be released next year.
