f(x)‘s Amber opened up about her past relationships, and talked about how she “sucks at them”
She spoke about the songs in her mixtape, “Rogue Rouge” and how they reflect her experiences with love and the entertainment industry.
Amber’s latest song, “Right Now”, featuring Gen Neo, took a long time to write for the both of them. Amber revealed it was because they both find relationships difficult, and putting their feelings into a song was difficult.
“I’ll say, I’m picky. I’m a very all-in personality, and that’s the reason I am picky because if I date you that means I want to marry you, I want to spend my life with you. I remember it took me five years to get over one of my exes. It’s not something we talk about a lot in the industry and it’s not something people see, but I’ve been an emotional wreck. I’m a softie. But when I get broken up with, I learn a lot about myself.” — Amber
