iKON’s Junhoe made a personal statement once more with regards to the controversial post about Takeshi Kitano.
The member already apologized after he posted a photo of a gift from the famous Japanese comedian and director. It didn’t agree to many of his Korean fans, however, as Takeshi Kitano is regarded anti-Korea for his statements made in the past.
In a press conference about their new album release, Junhoe spoke out once more. He apologized for disappointing he public and vowed to be more careful.
“First, I apologize for having disappointed many fans and for causing them to become deeply upset. I am very sorry, and I am deeply reflecting on my actions.
I will never do this in the future. I will always act with gratitude in front of our fans and cherish them.”

CEO Yang Hyun Suk did not release any statement but has already asked Junhoe to reflect endlessly.
“It happened just a few days before our album’s release date, and I am so sorry to my members. I sincerely apologized to them. I’ve lost face in front of my members and our CEO Yang Hyun Suk.
CEO Yang Hyun Suk told me to be absolutely careful and to repent endlessly.”

Leader B.I acknowledged that the incident had unfortunate timing but encouraged Junhoe to take this moment to reflect and grow to be a better person.
