SHINee’s Onew Wishes To Keep His Military Enlistment Time & Location Quiet

SHINee‘s Onew will be enlisting in the military for his mandatory service duties for his country. Reports announced that he will officially enlist on December 10. SM Entertainment confirmed that Onew will be enlisting but they will not reveal the time or place of his enlistment so that he can join quietly.

“As much as Onew is looking forward to enlisting, we will respect his wishes to enlist quietly. We will not be announcing the location or time of his enlistment, and we will also not be holding any special events for it either.”

Onew is the first to enlist out of all the SHINee members as he is the oldest. SM did not mention what the remaining members will be focusing on after Onew’s enlistment.
