Actress Meisa Kuroki, 23, has officially announced that she is pregnant. The announcement was made on her blog on Sunday, several weeks after it was widely reported by media.
Kuroki, who was rumored to be pregnant when she married singer Akanishi Jin, 27, back in February, told fans, “I’m finally able to officially announce that I am four months pregnant.” She went on to apologize for the delay in the announcement.
Both Kuroki and Akanishi publicly denied their relationship and failed to confirm widespread reports that Kuroki was pregnant at the time of their marriage.
“Right now, I feel mentally and physically well. I’m happy and grateful to have been blessed with a child,” she wrote.
Kuroki’s agency has announced that she is to appear in the play, “Miyazawa Kenji ga Tsutaeru Koto,” on May 12-13 at Setagaya Public Theater, before going on maternity leave. She reportedly plans to return to work sometime after giving birth.
Actress-singer Meisa Kuroki, 23, who in February announced her sudden marriage to former KAT-TUN singer Jin Akanishi, 27, will appear in a recitation of “Miyazaki Kenji ga tsutaerukoto” (Message from Kenji Miyazaki) at the Setagaya Public Theater in Tokyo on May 12-13.
Since announcing her marriage and pregnancy, Kuroki has dropped out of public view, but decided to take part in the Miyazawa event because it is in support of the victims of the March 11 disaster, she said in a statement.
Kuroki will join Yu Aoi, Shinobu Otake, Yoshino Kimura, Kyoko Koizumi, Kyoka Suzuki, Yosuke Eguchi, Tsurube Shofukutei and Shinichi Tsutsumi, among others.
The performers’ combinations and schedules will be announced later. The recitation goes from May 9 until June 3.

CHANNEL NEWS ASIA REPORTED: Japanese singer Jin Akanishi’s management agency confirmed on Wednesday that he had quietly married popular Japanese singer-actress Meisa Kuroki on February 2, reported Japanese media.
“I, Jin Akanishi, am happy to announce that I married Meisa Kuroki on February 2,” said Akanishi in a statement to the media.
“I’ll do my best in both my work and my personal life, ” said Kuroki.
Akanishi, the former lead vocalist of Japanese music group Kat-tun, was spotted with Kuroki at the Tokyo DisneySea theme park in January, sparking rumours that the two shared an intimate relationship.
JPOP REPORTED: However, both their management agencies claimed they were “just friends” at the time.
After a week of a quiet marriage followed by a media frenzy, Jin Akanishi and Meisa Kuroki have released official statements on their surprise marriage.
The messages were posted on the newly wed’s respective websites:

JPop singer Meisa Kuroki and singer-songwriter Jin Akanishi have been in the news that they are dating but Kuroki denied the rumour and said in a statement released by her talent agency, “We’re friends but he is not my boyfriend”. Also, Akanishi’s agency released a statement denying the boyfriend -girlfriend rumour that said “We are not going out.”
The rumour started when Kuroki and Akanishi were seen at Tokyo DisneySea on January 22, 2012; however, they were not by themselves, they were with a group of friends.
Although, Kuroki and Akanishi would look gorgeous together; however, if they did become a couple, their busy careers would break the two apart. So, it’s probably good that they are calling themselves “just friends”.
Kuroki is 23 will release her new album entitled “Unlocked” on February 15, 2012 and Akanishi is 27, a former singer for the Japanese group KAT-TUN and he will be releasing his debut solo album in March 2012 plus tour the United States.

Singer Koda Kumi has confirmed the rumours that she’s expecting a baby. She made the announcement during a mini-concert that she’s eight weeks pregnant.
Recently, she announced that she is engaged to KENJI03.
However, she will continue to work; for one she has several performance dates the rest of 2011. As the news comes about her pregnancy, she will probably cancel her national tour in 2012.
Kumi has expressed that she would like to have a concert for her 30th birthday on November 13, 2012.

JPop Singer Koda Kumi announced her engagement to KENJI03 on December 13, 2011. The engagement news was sent out via FAX and on Kumi’s website that she her finacee will register at the ward office by the end of the year.
According to Japan Today, Kumi said she and KENJI03 started dating after they worked together on her album “4 TIMES” last summer. “I was really attracted to him and his music. I think I fell in love first. When I am with him, I can be myself and cannot stop smiling. There are too many things that I want to talk about, so I have to stop. Anyway, he is an amazing person who accepts me as I am.”
KENJI03 said that he and Kumi hope to become the coolest couple in the universe. KENJI03 is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitar player for the rock band BACK-ON.

TVXQ is a very entertaining group. If you listen to their music, you wouldn’t even know it was in a foreign language. Their music is a mixture of Pop, Dance, Hip-Hop, Rap, Electronic, and R&B. This group originally had five members, however, lawsuits against the group’s record label divided the group into a duo in 2009. U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin are carrying the group’s name TVXQ and releasing music as a duo. The former three band members formed a new group called JYJ which is Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu.
TVXQ is a South Korean group that releases music in Korean, Japanese, and English. Their name stands for Tong Vfang Xien Qi which means The Rising Gods of the East. They have been called The Gods of K-Pop. Their music videos and live performances is hip and exciting to watch and listen to. This group can dance and sing. Their style captures the audience attention. Also, they are quite fashionable, both TVXQ and JYJ.
When the group had five members, “Purple Line” became the groups first number one song. They have many more hit songs and they have won several music awards including a large fan base. Even breaking the Guinness World Records with having the largest official fan club which is said to be well over one million worldwide.
As a duo, Why? Keep Your Head Down reached number one on the charts in Korea and Japan in early 2011. It seems that TVXQ is doing just fine as a duo. Their new song is entitled “Superstar’ which is highly anticipated by their fans. It’s sure to be another hit added to their successful career.
