SAN FRANCISCO_  It’s no secret that I am no longer a fan of American Idol since Season 8 however everywhere I turn my twitter, yahoo, email etc has Idol 10 all over the place,  Now they are talking about the singer name “Haley Reinhart” and The Earth Song”   she sang by the late super great my favorite Michael Jackson. 

For those of you who are following Idol was Randy and JLo too hard on her?  Was Steve Tyler right?   If Adam Lambert had been the one on stage to sing it would not have been a question of “Did he bring it”  Adam would have taken that song into orbit and back before the judges knew what hit them.

Haley spoke up for herself,  was she wrong to do that?

    I’ll tell you first that there is only one Elvis & one Michael Jackson! This song is intense & I have to admit to you I had never seen the video! Brilliant & earth shattering, true & scary! I really think Haley did a very good version! Me thinks Jlo feels threatened by Haley maybe?
    As far as I’m concerned Idol died after S8! Pls give it up and bury it! The Voice is sooo much better! I have watched a few times to check out people comparing James to Adam (by the way so NOT HAPPENING), but all I see is the judges pimping their personal careers & the guy they wanted to win! Simon would have but an end to that sh_t!! I have to say though, I proud Steven contradicted JLo & Randy’s opinion! I’m sorry to say, Randy has always gotten on my nerves! Never a favorte with me!! By the way, I would really like to see Adam do a cover of that song! I think he would kill it! Beautiful handy work done by Michael and Haley did him proud!

      Hey Beverly Remember a while back I said I could see Adam covering a couple of Michael’s songs? I would love to see that happen, Adam would send the songs up and out of the universe, James will sing you a bedtime story LMAO lol Okay I know you are going to hang me for that….lol

    First, I support Haley she’s only one that is unique in style, voice, presentation and talent. Rest are copycat of other singers. 2nd Thought Haley’s rendition was excellent. MJ would be proud. When Adam did B or W he got critized mainly by MJ fans that his rendition wasn’t good. That’s normal when you are a huge MJ fan. 3rd Randy and JLo have been hard on Haley all season always finding fault with her performance and pimping JD and Scott each week. It was so obvious they have been told to do so by producers. I have watched a few times this season only because of Haley. I think she deserves to win. Thank heavens the Adam Lambert wanna be is gone.

      Thank you so much Sharon for letting me know what’s going on! I watched the video of Haley and she sings better than JLo I heard about the Adam Lambert wannabes! Sorry It’s only 1 Adam and 1 Michael. I don’t know how and why they have JLo as a judge because, she cannot sing. Steve Tyler is a legend and his record speaks for itself. Well Haley seems to be a tough cookie and defended herself, she is beautiful girl with a gorgeous smile,

      I know she will have a great career and be able to take care of herself. We all know Adam aced B or W….

      Sharon i totally agree with everything you said here! I am proud that Steven Tyler disagreed w/Jackson & JLo in their remarks about Haley’s singing MJ’s song! No one can sing it like MJ, but I think she did a very good job!

        I just wanted to add that I thought Steven was brave to defend Haley those Other two have no backbone. What bothered me is after they bashed her 1st performance they turned around and gave her a SO. I think they knew they had to or the entire audience would have decended on them and rightly so. Btw Adam sings me to sleep every night. lol

        Hey Sharon, I agree with you about Haley! Haley stood up for herself, now If Simon was there and she did that she would have been out! Adam was the same way, he stood up for himself, I love outspoken people I am the same way… Did you say Adam sings you to sleep? OH My! Let me get out the way, here comes Beverly LMAO
