SAN FRANCISCO-  American Idol James Durbin has been elimanated,  Judges and Fans seem to be shocked at the elimination.  When Seacrest made the announcement Durbin said ” I’ve done so much stuff that has never been done on this show before.”  I thought Adam Lambert brought it all,  what did James Durbin  bring that I did not see? 

Entertainer La Tray said ” James Durbin’s performance was better than Lauren Alaina,  it was a concert. He was far more entertaining. Alaina’s performance was flat and boring.” Haley Reinhart’s second performance was outstanding. La Tray went on to say ” Durbin is still no Adam Lambert, Adam was the best American Idol Ever!”

Fans of James Durbin please tell  me what did he bring!   Non Fans of Durbin  what did he NOT bring?

    I just had to reply to this blog. Many ppl have compared James to Adam mainly because they thought James was trying to copy him. I have to agree to a point. He tried to dress like him, wear jewelry like his, copied his hair styles and of course obviously tried to sing like him. Did he? Absolutely NOT. I agree with others who say James had no control of his vocals especially when he attempted to reach high notes. I think if he had not tried that his natural voice with some training would help him greatly. Alaina is Country so how can anyone compare. She had one good night last week but what is concerning about her is her age, 15. Why is she trying to act and look 25. Adam tweeted his perception of Top 5 and he knows music. I agree with him saying that the others are so talented but Haley is the best. She should be in top 2 but who knows with the fickle voters.

      Hey Sharon, I did not know Lauren Alaina is only15 OMG I thought she was a grown woman, I don’t watch the show so, Wow, James is not an Adam and never be an Adam, James for sure is copying Adam but, sorry he is not my baby nephew Adam..lol From what I have seen, Haley is better

    Sorry DE that I went on and on, didn’t mean to! I really do wish James well, but he (in my opinion) didn’t bring anything that Adam didn’t do and did it with more style, grace, and humility(sp) than James did! He always turned to the band after he sang and thanked them! After the judges critiqued him he always said “thank you”! He seemed genuinely surprised when he got compliments! To this day on tour (133 concerts worldwide) he always introduced band and dancers night after night during “If I had You”! That people is a humble, loving, star and human being! Haters are losing sooooo very much not knowing Adam Mitchell Lambert!!!!!!♥♥♥♥♥ Love to you De De XOXOXO!

      Hey Bevery This is home for you and you may come and vent whenever you please, I knowed the same thing about Adam giving thanks to the band, he is one awesome fellow, Adam is just like my friend Musician Robert Watson he ALWAYS gives thank and credit to people and never ever ever turn away a fan, I love Adam and Robert for that, this is why I love and support them both,,,

    Well hello DeDe! I KNOW you are not surprised to see me here!! LOL! First off ~who is Aliana??? Let’s get something straight right from the start! Since Season 8 I no longer am a fan of AI! I was religiously dedicated to it up to S8! Friends KNEW not to call me until AI was over! Before Adam I watched for Simon! Loved his honesty and snarkiness! 9 out of 10 times he called it right! Back to present ~I am not hating on James! I just checked him out to see why people on Twitter were compairing him to Adam! Like “James is Adams twin”, “He looks JUST like Adam” “He sounds just like Adam”! Well girl you know I love me some Adam, so I had to check this guy out!! HE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY FRIGINN NOTHING LIKE ADAM! He has similiar style (his or copying?). Has no control of his voice, which by the way is good….but I will get hate for saying this, but he got really pitchy & off key more than not. But that wasn’t the worst of it…The cockiness was a REAL turn off for me! Giving himself the thumbs up after performing & he was the most shocked when he was voted off! He has no control of his emotions! I wish him well & hope he doesn’t get eaten up by the industry! Adam has had a hard road to fight getting to where he is & even he said it’s rough in the music industry. If James can’t control his emotions (People I know nothing about his disablities so don’t hate on me too much, but his lack of emotional control may have to do with what is wrong with him) he won’t have the stamina to survive!

      Hey Beverly, I am just like you, I don’t know Alaina or any of them my email, twitter and all the rest were lite up with there names so, I clicked on YouTube to see what was going on, James is very much copying off Adam, however, I do wish him luck, James sounds better than Alaina but he is not Adam Lambert. I still do not watch the show and has not since Adam, I checked my twitter, mail etc to see what people were hyped up about…
