Topic: Latina Celebrities – Playboy

There have been a lot Latina celebrities who posed nude in one of the most famous men magazine Playboy.

Singer Noelia who is Puerto Rican posed for Playboy Mexico in November 2010 and actress Olivia Collins who is Mexican posed in September 2010.

Is this a good image for Latina stars to show or is this a negative image?

Latina celebrities have come a long way in the entertainment industry. It was difficult for Latinas to act in films as a Latina. Such as, Rita Moreno who played a Native American character. Unfortunately, Latinas had to play characters of another nationality in order to get work in Hollywood.

In other words, Latinas fought long and hard to have place in Hollywood, to have recognition as beautiful and talented entertainers.

Furthermore, Latina celebrities have a reputation of being a beautiful people; hair, skin tone, and physic. So, does Playboy show an ugly image of Latina celebrities because they pose nude in the magazine?
