Whitney Houston is expected to be buried next to her father John Russell Houston, Jr., who died in 2003 according toTMZ’ sources who said Houston wanted to be laid to rest next to Mr. Houston on Saturday February 18, 2012. Although, Houston and her father were estranged when he was alive;however, she shed tears after he passed away on the reality show “Being Bobby”.

TMZ also reported that Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston and Dionne Warwick want her to be buried in Atlanta, Georgia but other family members want her buried in New Jersey where fans remember her best. However, Cissy told family members her daughter did not want to be buried in New Jersey like Michael Jackson who didn’t want to be at Neverland.

The family wants the funeral service to be private and the memorial service has been canceled.  It would have been if family could think about the fans wanting to say their good-bye as well.
