JYJ′s Kim Junsu finally got to perform on TV.

The singer performed for the opening of The 6th Musical Awards held on June 4 in Seoul, and also took over the stage for the last performance before intermission, The Last Dance from his musical Elisabeth.

He was nominated for the Best Lead Actor award, and although he didn’t win in that category, he was able to win the Most Popular Star Award three years in a row.

Right after the ceremony ended, Kim Junsu tweeted, ‘I want to thank all those fans who showed their support for me today. I thank you for the Star Award and it’s thanks to you that I was able to make it as a nominee two years in a row in just three years with the biggest actors. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I love you.’

He also added, ‘And I got to perform on television today. With a musical. I was happy,’ referring to how has yet to perform on television for his first solo album.

He then congratulated the Best Lead Actor Cho Seung Woo andElisabeth for receiving nine awards that day.

Kim Junsu starred in the musicalElisabeth as Tod.
