EXO’s Tao and miss A’s Jia’s close relationship has been brought to scrutiny by their fans.

On September 5th, Tao caught the attention of the netizens after he changed his profile photo on social networking site, Weibo. Tao used a photo of a cat in his updated profile and was later on found out to be Jia’s pet. Screen grabs of the said profile photo circulated online and raised speculations on their true relationship.

Both SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment have released their side on the issue and confirmed that the cat in Tao’s profile is indeed Jia’s pet. Since both are Chinese that are working in South Korea, Tao and Jia are said to be close friends and loves cats, but nothing more.

Since then, Tao has changed the profile photo on his Weibo account.
