Lee Min Ho’s charity auction was opened.
On December 17th, an official from Lee Min Ho’s management agency said, “Outfits that Lee Min Ho wore in drama ‘The Inheritors’ were put on an online auction, and the server went down because of excessive number of access.”
Lee Min Ho recently decided to host a charity fundraising auction with outfits that he wore during SBS drama ‘The Inheritors’, and fans from all over the world showed explosive reactions.
Lee Min Ho wore a great number of different outfits in the drama, and the auction will be held for three times from December 16th until 22nd.
The online auction began on December 16th, a great number of fans started accessing the website. The most number of fans accessed from Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan, and a great number of fans from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and South America also accessed.
According to an official, it is said that 10 thousand fans accessed a second after the auction began, and this much traffic can even paralyze online ticket reservation websites.
The official also said, “We did a lot of preparations, but things went way beyond our expectations. The website will be opened again on December 19th at 9 AM. We only operate the website from 9 AM until 6 PM for smoother management.”
Meanwhile, the auction was suggested by Lee Min Ho himself. He decided to host the auction to raise funds for donation, and the profits will be distributed to different charities.
