Seo Taiji will be a proud father some time this coming August.

There had been much controversy when it was revealed that he had secretly married actress Lee Ji-ah in 1997 (who debuted in 2007), only to get divorced in 2009. He then married someone 17 years younger than him, in which he had received much criticism for this move.

According to staff on Seo Taiji’s side, Seo Taiji’s wife, actress Lee Eunsung, is pregnant at 4 months and will be due some time in August.

Seo Taiji had also uploaded a notice for his fans on his birthday in February, saying that he had always wanted to tell his fans of the great news, however as it was very early in the pregnancy, he couldn’t notify them too soon, and that he was thankful to everyone who congratulated him.

Congratulations to Seo Taiji and Lee Eunsung!
