Dok2 posted on Twitter a picture of himself at a young age, stating, “People who don’t know me never speak to me in Korean, then and now still.”

Dok2 is a half-Korean with a Filipino-Spanish father and a Korean mother. Not only that, Dok2’s cousin is Nicole Scherzinger, a former member of American girl group Pussycat Dolls.

Korean media have begun to create a buzz over this, as it was recently re-discovered. Dok2’s brother is also a rapper in a group called Ezis, who is active in South Korea.
