Rio Andrew, a 15-year-old pupil at Holland Park School, died yesterday afternoon around 36 hours after he was taken to hospital in the early hours on Sunday.

Another party-goer, aged 19, remains in hospital today in a stable condition.

There are reports that both teenagers had drunk from the same bottle of beer.

Scotland Yard today admitted it had intelligence that an illegal rave was planned for last Saturday at the building in Cherry Orchard Road but said “no further action was taken.”
