A painting of a woman revealing her pubic hair has been removed from a London exhibition after visitors apparently complained it was in poor taste.
Leena McCall’s depiction of her friend in ‘Portrait of Ms Ruby May, Standing’ was taken down from the Mall Galleries in central London after just two days on display amid fears it might be inappropriate for children to look at.
The striking image features a young woman dressed in just a revealing dark green waistcoat and shorts – and no underwear.
