Amelia Earhart was born July 24, 1897 in Atchison, Kansas. Earhart disappeared July 2, 1937 at age 39 en route to Howland Island. She was the First woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and setting many aviation records. Earhart spouse was George P. Putnam. According to, Wikipedia.
