Actress Jane Lynch  host the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards at NOKIA theater in Los Angeles, California on September 18, 2011.  From 2004 -2010 Lynch portrayed Dr. Linda Freeman  on  (Two in a Half Men).   Currently Lynch can be seen on the hit (TV series) Glee as Sue Sylvester.  In 2011 Lynch was the winner of The 37th Annual People’s Choice Awards for – Favorite TV Comedy Actress.  Her alternate name is Jany Lynch.

At press time, it was confirmed that Lynch would be the host, Lynch seemed to be thrilled with the news. “I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys on FOX,” said Lynch. “I’m  looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit.”  Executive Producer Mark Burnett told the press that Lynch was his first and only choice to host this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards. She is the perfect host for this major event.

She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2011.
