After being in a relationship with fiancé Abhinav Kohli for three-and-a-half years, television actress Shweta Tiwari finally got married in a ceremony among family and friends of both actors.
The actress was previously married to Raja Chaudhary, a well-known television actor, but the two have divorced because of irreconcilable differences and Raja’s abusive behaviour towards Shweta.
The “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” actress also has a teenage daughter named Palak from her marriage with Raja, whose custody has been given to her mother as per the court’s orders.
The wedding was attended by many of their celebrity friends including Indraneil and Barkha Bisht, Urvashi Dholakia and Karanvir Bohra. Comedian Bharti and Jayati Bhatia even danced to a few songs during the celebrations.
The wedding was held on 13 July in Mumbai, and the post-wedding reception is set to be held in Bangalore on 17 July.
