U.S. Citizen,Early 30s, Caught Trying To Swim From South Korea To North Korea To Meet Leader “Kim Jong-un”

South Korean government officials revealed on Wednesday that a U.S. citizen was caught attempting to cross the river border between South and North Korea.

The man, who reportedly is in his early 30s, was taken into custody by South Korean Marines. The man was attempting to swim across the Han River, to head into North Korea around 11:55pm from Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province.

A U.S. citizen was caught trying to cross a river border between South and North Korea, government sources said Wednesday.

When asked, the man responded, “My purpose was to meet the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un”.

Officially revealed that the man was swimming with the current when he grew tired and laid low near the riverside, and was arrested by Marines. They continued to say, “I believe this is the first time an American tried to flee to the North through Gimpo area”

With news about Gong Hyojin’s break up with actor Lee Jinwook circulating online, fans can help but ask if her recent co-star Jo Insung was still in a relationship as well, leading for his agency to release a statement

In a statement released on September 17th, Jo Insung’s agency states that the actor is still in a relationship with actress, Kim Minhee. Due to their busy schedules, especially with the drama’s recent filming, the couple have not been able to meet inconsistently,. However, their relationship remains unchanged.

The agency was obliged to release a statement after news over Gong Hyojin’s break up with Lee Jinwook circulated, which was later on acknowledged by their respective agencies.

Jo Insung was last paired up with Gong Hyojin for the drama “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” which was praised by its fans for their uncanny chemistry.  The two actor are now with the rest of the cast and crew in Thailand for the drama’s celebratory trip.
