Since her role as the lead character on the series, her resume has expanded to include actress, singer-songwriter, movie director, producer, and author.

She wrote and directed the films Magic, Fragments of Sweet Memories, and Daughter. Gu Hye Sun’s company Gu Hye Sun Film was established in 2011, and her movie The Peach Tree was the first project made under the company.

The star composed the soundtrack for the film and released a book based on the movie. Her best-selling book Tango was a semi-autobiographical novel. She also starred in dramas Take Care of Us, Captain, Angel Eyes and Blood.

Gu Hye Sun married her Blood co-star Ahn Jae Hyun in 2016, after he accidentally confessed his feelings in front of the whole set (he told her she was pretty and a mic picked it up, transmitting it to the entire set) and she kissed him shortly afterwards so that their first kiss onscreen wasn’t their first kiss.

Netizens were in a state after discovering evidence proving that JBJ’s Yongguk and SONAMOO’s Nahyun seem to be dating. 

There were photos of them allegedly on a sweet date in a coffee shop while netizens compiled couple items such as their mobile cases, shirts and even the use of a specific emoji on their SNS posts.

It was soon, however, denied by their respective agencies. Chun Entertainment spoke in behalf of Yongguk saying, “The two are close friends not lovers. They are friends who support each other’s activities as entertainment colleagues.” 

TS Entertainment also released a similar statement for Nahyun: “The two are close friends who sometimes eat together and play games.”

MAMAMOO’s Concert Threatened To Be Boycotted

MAMAMOO’s fans cannot seem to be in agreement with their agency and has threatened to boycott their upcoming concert as a response.

The conflict initially started after the fanclub highlighted out the group’s official schedule had been continously full throughout the year with a number of recurring injuries that they assumed were ignored.

The called for a tougher response from MAMAMOO’s agency and released this statement. 

“We did not agree with the unreasonable feedback given by the agency. We will announce a tougher response at the present time and boycott official concerts, DVDs, franchise and the purchase at official merchandise sites. 

We urge RBW Entertainment, the object of the boycott, to provide concrete feedback including improved artist treatment and postponement of the concert. We will continue the boycott until there a reasonable feedback.” 

MAMAMOO has one of the strongest fandoms amongst K-Pop girl groups, hence, a hard dilemma for the agency. 

RBW Entertainment issued this statement as a response. 

“The concert will be held at the SK Handball Stadium in December. We have been planning and rehearsing for the performances since then. If we postpone and cancel, we be penalized and won’t be able to perform for a year.”

Back in September, BLINKs got a surprise announcement that was a cause for celebration. On the group’s official fancafe, fans found out that BLACKPINK was going to be having their first ever solo concert, BLACKPINK 2018 Tour [In Your Area] Seoul X BC Card, on November 10 and 11.

Now the moment has finally come and it was just as spectacular as fans expected it to be!

But it wasn’t just fans that were blown away by the group’s concert! A lot of idols and celebrities also came out to support the members and enjoyed some fantastic music!

One of those idol guests was BIGBANG‘s Seungri who even joined the members on stage to show some extra support!

Being the completely supportive sunbae that he is, he gave a few words that immediately set BLINKs hearts ablaze.

“I am honored to be here with BLACKPINK. This gymnastics arena was also the venue for BIGBANG’s first concert and I know that starting from here,  we will see soon see them them perform all over the world!”

Besides his kind words, he also made a few comparisons between his own group and BLACKPINK.
