A website called Hip Hop DX, quoting Grey, mentioned that “Don’t Look Down” will include several Eminem features and even one from Marilyn Manson.

Eminem and Grey recently shot a video for Grey’s song “C’mon Let Me Ride.”

Grey told Hip Hop DX that Eminem has encouraged her to be her eclectic self on the album.

“Eminem told me, ‘Just be you,'” Grey told the website. “That is so simple yet so true. I should not try and be anything, I should just be me. It should be as easy as breathing to put out this album and make these songs.”

Eminem and Adele have both made music history by selling the most digital album sales. Eminem was the first music artist to reach one million digital album sales with his album “Recovery” but soon after one week, British sensation Adele surpassed Eminem by becoming the second music artist to sell one million digital album sales with her album “21”.

Adele’s album “21” has sold 2.5 million copies in the U.S. and Eminem’s album “Recovery” has sold 3.9 million copies in the U.S. and counting for both artist. Worldwide sales for Adele’s album has sold 9 million copies and Eminem’s album has sold over 6 million copies. Both artist albums is still climbing the billboard charts and music sales (digital and CD).

It was hard work and determination for Eminem and Adele to make music history.  The music industry is a complicated place to accomplish music sales. For a long time, music was down in sales, mostly because of illegal downloading and etc… However, music still has a long way to go.

Eminem and Adele are bringing music sales back with the new age of music media called “digital”.

The controversy, Hip Hop vs. Rap?   Are they the cause of our youth to become violent?  Wear a mouth full of gold?  Pants hanging off their butt?  Calling women “Ho’s?”  Do women like the disrespect?    Hip Hop and Rap is a  Trillion dollar business at whose expense?

Back in the days children had respect for their elders and neighbors.  Today elders cannot ride the bus, people cannot talk to youth without them using profanity, getting violent blasting Rap/Hip Hop Music in people ears.  Some say it’s the parents fault, in some cases  it’s the parents doing the same thing.  Now who is to blame?

Artist such as LL Cool J,  Will Smith, Kanye West  just to name a few does not promote offensive lyrics.   I enjoy their work, Kanye is extremely outspoken and I LOVE that about him,  on the other hand when you step out of that box you have  you have lyrics such as “I F–ked your mama and your grandmother too”  “Come suck my ____ tell I c-m b–ch and so on.  WOW!   Rev. Al Sharpton was hot on some of the Artists.

Are the lyrics to Rap and Hip Hop destroying our youth?  Should Rap- Hip Hop albums be banned?  Please Leave A Comment
