Pop star George Michael announced that he and long time partner Kenny Goss have been apart for 2 years  and half years, however, Michael made the announcement during  his performance in Prague “Kenny and I haven’t been together for two and a half years … It’s time to be honest.” It was an emotional heartfelt performance by Michael. He dedicated  a song to his ex entitled  “Where I Hope You Are.”

Michael expressed his feelings for Goss “This man has brought me a lot of joy and a lot of pain,”. Billboard reported that Goss became addicted to alcohol after loosing his parents a few years ago. Goss is the owner of Goss Gallery located in Dallas, Texas which displays art showcases.

Michael has had his personal troubles with substance abuse, however, he seems to have put that part of his life to the side and hopefully for good. Michael is a music legend and the music industry cannot lose another talented singer.

As for Michael and Goss,  I hope one day Michael and Goss can find a way to rekindle that flame that kept them together for so many years.  The couple had been together since 1996.

Michael kicked off his tour in Prague August 22, 2011. His Symphonica tour will consist of 195 concerts around Europe.
