Model Lee Jiyeon, who was involved in a lawsuit for blackmailing Lee Byunghun, claims that she was in a deep relationship with the actor.

On October 16th, GLAM‘s Dahee and Lee Jiyeon attended the first trial at the Seoul Central Court District for the blackmailing lawsuit filed by actor Lee Byunghun. Lee Byunghun, the plaintiff and victim of the case, was not in attendance. During the trial, the accused admitted to secretly filming Lee Byunghun and asking for 5,000,000,000 won ($4.7 million USD) in return for the footage not to be released.

However, more details of the alleged relationship between the model and the actor were released. According to Lee Jiyeon’s attorney, “Lee Jiyeon and Lee Byunghun were in a relationship much deeper than just hugging. Unlike Lee Byunghun’s claims, he was the first one to offer to buy a house for her in the first place.” The statement continued with, “Lee Byunghun demanded their physical relationship to be more intimate and after Lee Jiyeon declined his offer to buy her a house, Lee Byunghun notified her to break up. Upon hearing the news, she decided to blackmail in reaction to being devastated emotionally from his actions and she did not approach Lee Byunghun for money.” Additionally, the attorney also registered their mutual friend Seok, the person who introduced the two, as a witness.

On the other hand, the district attorney have summoned their own plaintiff Lee Byunghun as their witness, along with their mutual friend,Seok for the next trial.

With the recent investigation currently progressing, netizens have moved on their interest to the location where Lee Byunghun, Lee Jiyeon and GLAM’s Dahee met.

On September 10th, it was reported that netizens are curious as to where the alleged meeting in the said video clip took place. On initial reports, it was stated that the three met at Lee Byunghun’s house or at a certain club. However, police reports revealed a different finding and stated that the incident took place at Lee Jiyeon’s house.

Today, a representative from Lee Byunghun’s agency, stated a different story from the presented facts, claiming that the three were drinking at an Italian Restaurant instead, denying previous reports of it happening in any other location mentioned. The representative was quoted saying, “The women involved Lee Byunghun’s blackmailing scandal were mutual friends of junior. He has come to know them by being at the same Italian Restaurant as them,” claiming that the actor quickly left after.

As the contents of the video are still unverified pending to the investigation, netizens remain curious to the actual facts of the incident.

Lee Byunghun recently filed an attempted extortion case against GLAM’s Dahee and model Lee Jiyeon, as the two women blackmailed the actor for money in exchange of the obscene video clip in their possession.

Recent reports claim that if proven guilty, the two women will possibly face a $20,000 fine and ten years imprisonment.
