Country Singer Scotty McCreery is devoting his time on his first CD for his fans.  McCreery wants to have at least one Christian song on his album,  he plans on staying true to who his is by keeping his country-style traditional and he’s not concerned about mainstream radio airplay.

McCreery wants to work with the talents of Nashville songwriters.  He’s been listening to a few songs from songwriters but he hasn’t confirmed any songs that will make his debut CD. He wishes to be independent and known as Scotty McCreery and not a winner of a competition show. His dream is to have a career like Carrie Underwood. She’s known by her name and not a music competition title attached to her name.

Down the line in the future McCreery would like to work with singer Lauren Alaina once they are established singers, he believes their voices would collaborate well together.

Scotty McCreery said  “I am not going to let Hollywood or the fame get me.”  According to Taste of Country “He’ll always be our Garner, N.C. country boy. No matter how big he gets, his head will remain out of the clouds”.  His song “I Love You This Big” has topped the charts.

McCreery is showing signs of a of having a great head on his shoulders at such a young age. He is determined to have a successful country career without the wild partying life of Hollywood.  He has that sweet down to earth deep southern charm from North Carolina. He is on the right path to fame without that Hollywood cocky attitude.  McCreery’s personality will attract fans from all walk of life.  His idol is Josh Turner.
