One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has tweeted his angry response after an interview with his ‘estranged father’ was printed on Sunday.

Hitting out at the Sunday Mirror article, in which his father Troy Austin admits that he wants to reconcile with his son, the 21-year-old posted a strongly-worded message.

‘I’d like to start off the day by saying a big f**k you to ‘the mirror’ 🙂 on a happier note huge love to all out fans, you keep us going!!,’ the singer wrote on his account.

According to the article, the star’s father, who split from his mother when Louis was two-years-old, has recently taken his half sister Georgia to the Nottingham leg of the band’s tour to see her brother perform.

‘Seeing Louis on that stage was amazing. He’s in the ­biggest band in the world and I’m the proudest dad in the world. I just hope he knows it,’ said Troy.The 44-year-old added that although he tried to go backstage to speak to his son after the show, he was told that it wouldn’t be possible.
