Today, Col. Tim Lawler heard on the news Barack Obama has decided to cut back on the financial aid to Cairo, Egypt. We give Cairo, Egypt One billion dollars a year!! And you know how long we have been giving aid to Africa. Who else do we give money to? I’m sorry, but isn’t the United States in debt?

Janay McFarlane was shot once in the head approximately 11:30 pm in North Chicago on the same day when her sister was sitting at President Barack Obama’s gun speech.

According to the North Chicago police, two individuals are being questioned.

McFarlane was 18 and the mother of a 3-month-old boy.

Chicago teenager shot and killed after sister sat on stage behind Obama during speech on guns: Hours after Destini Warren, 14, attended President Barack Obama’s speech against gun violence Friday, her family learned of a terrible irony.

Destini’s sister, Janay McFarlane, 18, was the victim of the very thing that the President was condemning at Hyde Park Academy in Chicago.
McFarlane, of the 8900 block of South Lowe Avenue, was visiting friends and family in North Chicago when she was shot on her way to a store in the northern suburb, her family said.

She was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m., shortly after sustaining a single gunshot wound to her head, according to the Lake County Coroner’s office.

According to Yahoo News, The photo of Cher, Mom was taken en route to meet President Obama–Cher took Mom along as her “date”–and it appears even he was impressed by Holt’s slender and youthful appearance.

“Told him mom’s 86,” Cher tweeted of the meeting. “He said ‘Georgia, tell me what u eat’ & smiled!”

Holt’s reaction to the President’s admiration? “Mom was all ‘OMG!'” Cher said.

According to New York Post,  Singer Pink has undergone surgery to have her gall bladder taken out in LA. A rep for the 32-year-old pop star said, “Pink had her gall bladder removed and is out of the hospital recovering nicely.” But the singer didn’t have any kind words for the lost organ. Pink wrote on Twitter, “F-YOU gall bladder! SAYONARA!!!!!!!”

She had good reason to be annoyed, having had to cancel a performance on Wednesday night at a Hollywood fund-raiser for President Obama.

She was also forced to celebrate her daughter Willow Sage’s first birthday in the hospital on June 2. Pink later tweeted: “So now I have let down my daughter and the president. wow. great week.”

According to People, President Obama’s daughter Malia is just fine even though she was in Mexico on Tuesday when a 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit.

 

“In light of today’s earthquake, we can confirm that Malia Obama is safe and was never in danger,” the First Lady’s communications director Kristina Schake wrote in a statement Tuesday.
The quake, which initially hit Oaxaca in southwestern Mexico, sent aftershocks through Mexico City.
Malia, 13, is on vacation in Oaxaca as part of a school-sponsored service project, reports the Associated Press.


With the exception of this instance because it involves the safety of the president’s daughter, the White House does not comment on the Obama children and generally requests that media not report on or photograph the girls when they are not with their parents.
