DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Melanie seized the moment and called Chad, revealing her whereabouts in the tunnels under Salem. As Brady got to Melanie and Chad found Andrew and Gabi, a huge gas explosion rocked the tunnels, as well as the land above. While waiting for Brady to arrive at their wedding ceremony, Madison was caught with Ian as the ballroom blew up, while Nicole, also in the ballroom, suffered from cramps. After Sami protected E.J. from being shot by Roman, E.J. held her as she hung from a catwalk, about to fall as everything shook.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Unaware that a hidden camera was operating, Connie admitted to Johnny that she’s stopping Kate from fully being herself. Shaken by a visit from Anthony’s ghost, Johnny trashed the office and made an important discovery. Patrick finally decided to enter a detox program. Starr and Michael’s announcement that they’re dating caused conflicted feelings for Sonny and Kate. Todd took revenge on McBain by sending the photo of John and Sam kissing to Natalie, the mother of John’s child.

HOLLYWOOD –  Legendary Comedienne -Actress – Writer The Amazing Carol Burnett will be headed to Pine Valley fictitious home for Daytime Soap “All My Children.  Fans who watched All My Children will remember Burnett’s role as  (Verla Grubbs)

Burnett’s Character is the daughter of  Professor Langley Wallingford who was married to Phoebe Tyler Wallingford played by (Ruth Warrick) .  Verla Grubbs is one funny character,  I know All My Children Fans will be glued to their seats to welcome Burnett, so far she is scheduled to return in September. Agnes Nixon is the creator of All My Children.

HOLLYWOOD – We are losing our Daytime Dramas everyday and it’s not right! My 3 favorite soaps are “Days Of Our Lives” , “One Life To Love”,  and General Hospital.”  No matter which Soap you watch, we must save them all. The only ones we have left are:

1. Days Of Our Lives

2. One Life To Live

3. All My Children

4. General Hospital

5. The Young & The Restless

6. The Bold & The Beautiful

One of these shows may not be your favorite, however, we must band together to keep our Soap Writers and Actors working. We enjoy our villains and we love when they get what’s coming to them. Reality shows, cooking shows, and others are forcing our Daytime Shows off the air.  Please sign all petitions, write the Sponsors, and let them know you’re not going to buy their products if the soaps are canceled. Please do not watch NON- Celebrity reality shows.

I met Anthony Geary and Stuart Damon, they both were so sweet, took their time laughing and talking to me. Damon made a special trip just to see me because I was talking to him on the telephone and I did not know it was Damon.

I do like or watch The Bell Family Soap, however, I did watch the show when Actress Victoria Rowell was on there. I love the character Victor Newman. Furthermore, a lot of stars have been on their favorite soap,  My Cousin Aretha Franklin is a HUGE Victor Newman.

PLEASE  SAVE  THE  REST  OF  OUR  DAYTIME DRAMAS – SOAP OPERAS.

SAN FRANCISCO – I blogged about Katie Couric leaving CBS sometime ago and I was right! The Oprah exit meant the Couric entrance. “Oprah leaving made it seem like it was feasible,” Couric said. “because to go up against Oprah would be pretty terrifying. I don’t think anybody could really do that.” To make room and money for Couric means cuts to Daytime Soaps. I have nothing against Katie Couric, she is a wonderful Journalist, however I cannot support the show unless ABC decides to keep the Soaps on air. I shall remain loyal to competitor Ellen DeGeneres and Soap Operas. I wish Couric the best.

SAN FRANCISCO –  Actress Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo is leaving General Hospital she portrays  (Brenda)  the love interest of “Sonny Corinthos” played by Actor Maurice Benard.  Fans were waiting with anticipation for the return of (Brenda) only to hear she’s leaving after being on the show for a year.  It’s possible General Hospital may be ending all the more reason for Giovinazzo to stay until the end.  I get so sick and tired of Actors coming and going  just because.  I wish Giovinazzo all the luck with her acting career, however, I don’t see a Soap Opera future for her because Soaps are no longer wanted by the Networks.
