In yet another speculation about her looks, the tabloids recently reported that Tavia Yeung had gone under the knife in order to appear youthful and compatible with her younger boyfriend, Him Law.
However, according to Mingpao, the actor recently dismissed the reports as mere gossip, saying that the actress has always been a natural beauty.
Speaking to the media at the Ted Baker Spring Collection Fashion Show, the actor stated, “Tavia is beautiful as she is. She may look extra beautiful onscreen, but that’s because of the lighting.”
When asked if he would not mind Tavia undergoing plastic surgery, Him said that he doesn’t care about outer appearance and only values her thoughts.
“It would be impossible if a person looks the same after turning 50. That would be creepy,” the actor added.

Actress Tavia Yeung is enraged with a recent tabloid report of her ‘immoral conduct’ in a car with actor Him Law.
A press conference was held by the two celebrities in order to clarify the car incident and explained the actual incident that happened the night photos of her head on his lap were taken by the paparazzi.
The actress stated, “I specifically requested Him to drive me home before the dinner, knowing that I will not be able to drive myself when I drink.”
The actress stated that Him Law told her as she walked out the restaurant that he suspected some paparazzi were waiting for her, so she took a taxi with Meini Cheung and stopped at Cheung’s place before boarding Him Law’s car.
The actress stated that she has already vomited in the taxi and did not wish to be photographed in a drunken state, so she put her head on his lap to avoid from being photographed, explaining why her lips were photographed wet.
She continued, “When the car drove at my apartment building, Him patted me and said that there are paparazzi at my place and since the word paparazzi is a sensitive word to an artiste, my first reaction is to cover my face and wear my cap.”
Tavia Yeung stated that she is also considering taking legal action against the publication of such outrageous report of her alleged behaviour, not without explaining that her relationship with Him Law is still new and will inform the public if they are advancing to the next stage.
On 19 September, the tabloid published shocking photos of Tavia Yeung’s face resting on Him Law’s lap for the whole 40-minute car ride and alleged that the actress were ashamed when she was photographed, wearing a cap and covering her face with her hands. The tabloid also amplified the controversy by reporting that Tavia’s lips were wet, hinting of lewd behaviour.
The incident happened after Tavia Yeung’s dinner with her classmates from TVB’s acting class on 18 September.

The Hong Kong actress’s controlling ways have reportedly cause a rift in their relationship
After TVB actress Tavia Yeung’s last relationship ended in 2007, the actress had been focused on her career until last year when she started dating 27-year-old actor Him Law.
However, Him was later accused of dating four girls at the same time. Worried that her beau might revert to his playboy ways, Tavia decided to “keep a close watch” on her boyfriend of one year.
“Him said that Tavia is very controlling. She would call him at least 10 times a day. If he’s not free to pick up the call, she would keep calling until he picked it up,” Him’s friend said.
It is believed that Him also complained that “Tavia would want me to look for her, even if she finishes her work late into the night”.
Him eventually sought helped from his management company, requesting to work overseas, so as to avoid Tavia. The actor was given a job to film a travelogue in Dubai and had only returned to Hong Kong recently.
“Before Him left [for Dubai], Tavia kept asking him if there were any girls travelling with him. Obviously Him said no, so that she would stop asking. Sometimes, Tavia controls too much. Any guy would think she’s a nuisance,” an insider commented.
