Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Split Publicity Stunt

Topic: Jennifer Lopez – Marc Anthony  –  Q’Viva! The Chosen

Entertainers Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony made an announcement that they are calling it quits.  In a statement to  CNN the couple had this to say “we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”  There is no privacy for celebrities and they should know it by now.

Lopez and Anthony is working on a new reality show project called  “Q’Viva! The Chosen,” which is described as “the ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance.”  Lopez is taking her time to make a decision  whether or not to return as a  judge on American Idol because she’s  already committed to her show and her show comes first.

Announcing that they are getting a divorce brings a lot of attention to the couple and its free publicity and advertising for their new show.  If they do not want anyone in their business then another career choice will have to be made.  Anyone in show business will have paparazzi,  news, magazines, radio, TV, etc… all in their business . Celebrities belong to the public, they want fame and fame comes with a price tag and it’s called “No Privacy.”

Since this is a stunt to draw viewers to their new show, Lopez and Anthony could have come up with something other than the same old tired out Hollywood excuse “We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters.”  If they have amicable conclusions then it would not be a reason for a divorce.

The publicity stunt is working because everyone is talking and reading about it, we bloggers are blogging about it so, it works!
