Baek Jiyoung is a South Korean pop ballad singer and finally had a comeback after a year and four months of being inactive with her new song, “Still Burning”.

Baek Jiyoung states, “I do not have much ambition besides the fact that I have debuted for 15 years already. If I care much about the unnecessary things then I can get tired which isn’t like my nature. On stage, I only hope for the best and to give my all, with a grateful heart and hope to sing again next time.”

In May, Baek Jiyoung returned to the music scene after a hiatus of one year and four months. Her song was composed by the famous German Compser, Joachim Radloff and Andreas Baetels. “Still Burning” is a song about the reminiscence about a first love.

She states, “Although ‘Still Burning’ did not win first place, I want to see the OST for ‘Fatal Encounter’, ‘Fervor’ win first place.” In regards to the different styles of these two songs, she states, “‘Fervor’ is more of a historical and consistent type of song while ‘Still Hot’ is more of a pop ballad style.”
